HARMONIC REACTOR

The three-phase series reactor is applied in the reactive power compensation device of low-voltage distribution equipment. Due to the influence of harmonic current, closing inrush current, and operating ground voltage on the capacitor when compensating for capacitive reactive power, it is easy to cause capacitor damage and reduce power factor. Therefore, it is necessary to install a three-phase series reactor at the front end of the capacitor to suppress and absorb harmonics, protect the capacitor, avoid the influence of harmonic voltage current and impulse current, and extend the service life of the capacitor.

STATIC VAR GENERATOR

Static Var Generator (SVG) is currently an advanced power factor correction technology. The basic principle is to use high-power power electronic devices (IGBT) to form a self commutation bridge circuit, which is connected in parallel to the power grid through a reactor. The circuit absorbs or emits reactive current that meets the requirements, achieving dynamic reactive power compensation.
