| EP Shanghai 2019 Concluded Successfully with 38,000 Professional Visitors

Organized by China Electricity Council, State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid, co-organized by Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., “the 12th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology (EP Shanghai 2019)”and“2019 International Exhibition on Electric Power Automation Equipment and Technology” concluded successfully from 6-8 November at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, PR China.
The 3-day exhibition housed a total of 1053 brands and enterprises with an exhibition area of 55,000 sqm. The number of visitors increased by 22% with 37,835 professional visitors, in which 3,329 were overseas visitors from 53 countries and regions. Most of them travelled from Korea, Russia, Thailand, Philippines, Japan and Singapore.
The preeminent brands and manufacturers in the industry comprehensively showcased their new products and technologies at EP Shanghai. From procurement of equipment to technical innovation and exchange, the exhibition provided domestic and foreign power companies, power grid companies, power engineering, equipment companies, power design institutes as well as construction, petrochemical, rail transportation, steel and shipbuilding and other industrial users a one-stop platform to acquire the latest market information, explore new products and technologies, and negotiate business cooperation. The onsite atmosphere was enthusiasm and the organizer has received a lot of positive feedbacks from the visitor survey. More than 90% of the visitors were very satisfied or satisfied with the quality of the exhibitors and exhibits while more than 95% of them rated the quality of the exhibitors as very good or good. The result fully embodies the high quality of the exhibition.
The Industry Gave Staunch Support to this Annual Event
EP Shanghai featured specialized theme zones including “One-stop Power Transmission and Distribution”, “Electric Power Automation”, “Ubiquitous Internet of Things in Electricity”, “Intelligent Electrical Equipment Manufacturing” to facilitate the interactions between exhibitors and their target visitors. Brands such as State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid, Siemens, CYG, Legrand, Nari Group, Xuji Group, Shandong Electrical Engineering & Equipment, Acrel, Jiangsu Senyuan, Murge, People Electric, 360, Phoenix Contact, KSTAR, Hiprecise, CNC Electric, SOJO, Dongfang Electronics, WOER, Emerson, Staubli, KERI (Korea), MEGGER, KOMAX, and many more provided comprehensive upper to downstream equipment and technology to visitors. Pavilions from the USA, Germany, High Voltage Porcelain Alliance, Taiwan Electrical & Electronic Manufacturer’s Association, Baoding Electric Power Equipment Industry Association, Ubiquitous Internet of Things in Electricity and Yueqingshi Power Transmission & Distribution Industry Association also showcased internationalized and diversified equipment and technology.
At the same time, “International Data Center & Cloud Computing Industry Expo” was held alongside with EP Shanghai to introduce data applications in power industry. More than 100 industry-leading brands such as China Unicom, Sugon, KSTAR, 21Vianet Group, Siemens, Centrin Data System, Hong Kong Broadband Network, Telstra, Mitsubishi, etc., joined hands to participate in this grand occasion.
Gather More than 2200 Visitors from over 130 Local & Overseas Delegations
The exhibition successfully organized 130 professional delegations, the numbers doubled compared with the last edition. Domestic associations including Ningbo Electrical Equipment Industry Association, Shanghai Electrical Design & Research Association, Jiangsu Province Electric Power Engineering Association, Taizhou Electrical Engineering Association, Shanghai Institute of Traffic Engineering, Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Manufacturers Trade Association, Nantong Transformer Industry Association, Nantong Electrical Engineering Association, Jiangsu Province Electric Power Engineering Association, Changzhou Power Transmission and Distribution Industry Association, Xiangshan Power Transmission and Distribution Industry Association, Henan Province Electrical Equipment Industry Association, Zhuhai Smart Grid Industry Alliance, Suzhou Electric Power Industry Association, Hunan Province Electric Power Engineering Enterprise Association; Power Companies in different province including East China Power Grid Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Electric Power Company Zhejiang Electric Power Company, Jiangxi Electric Power Company, Auhui Electric Power Company，Shandong Electric Power Company, Fujian Electric Power Company，Shanghai Electric Power Company; Leading Enterprises including Huaneng, Datang, CHN Energy，Energy China, CGN Power, Shenergy Group,Schneider, Siemens, Eaton formed delegation to EP Shanghai. Overseas delegations were from Korea, Pakistan, Vietnam, Iran, etc.
Industry Experts Gathered at the 30+ Concurrent Conference and events
Over 30 concurrent events were hosted in EP Shanghai, covering industry conference, technical forums and new product galleries. “Ubiquitous Internet of Things in Electricity Summit”, organized by China Electricity Council and State Grid Corporation of China, was held on the first show day. Experts from State Grid, China Electricity Council, Hauwei, Alibaba Cloud, China Electric Power Research Institute, Jindong, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang Electric Power Corporation, 360 security, State Grid Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company were invited to share and discuss the topics such as “Three Types and Two Networks”, “5G”, “Digitalization in Electric Power Industry”, “Ubiquitous Internet of Things in Electricity”, “Power Transmission and Distribution”. The summit was well received by the attendees.
Meanwhile, “2019 Power Demand Side Management Innovation Summit”, “Forum on Electrical Application Technology in Medical Industry”, “Development and Application of Intelligent Power Distribution Technology”, “Power Transmission and Transformation Engineering 3D Design Development Forum”, “Smart Park and Intelligent Digital Industry Forum”, “5G and Green Data Center” , “National Electric Power Industry Chain - Cooperation and Resources Matching Summit”, “2019 Transformer Innovation Awards Presentation Ceremony” as well as a series of technical talks and 10+ sessions of “New Product Gallery” were attracted over 4000 industry expertise to participate.
EP Shanghai 2020 to be held in Shanghai again

In order to promote the long-term development of the show and to better serve the industrial development, the organizer has decided EP Show will be stationed in Shanghai annually starting from 2020 after considering different parties’ opinions. The 30th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology (combined the editions of EP Shanghai and EP China) will be held on 3-5 December 2020 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The show scale is expanded to 60,000sqm. EP Shanghai will continue to constitute a core platform for the development direction and model of the industry.
