It exhibits low no-load losses and outstanding performance under heavy-load conditions, making it well suited for industrial applications with high load demands. Amorphous alloy laminated core: constructed by winding amorphous alloy ribbons, it offers no-load losses 60–70% lower than those of silicon steel, providing a distinct advantage in energy savings under light-load operation. However, the material is thin and brittle, with poor impact resistance, low saturation flux density, a relatively large overall footprint, slightly higher noise levels, and higher manufacturing costs.
