Safety Cutting Device for Installing Metal Aluminum Sheaths on 110 kV and Above Single-Core Cables

The device comprises a ring‑shaped fixing structure, a ring‑shaped cutting mechanism, and other components, and is suitable for aluminum sheaths with an outer diameter of approximately 80–150 mm. During cable stripping, the cutting unit is mounted on the exterior of the single‑core cable's aluminum sheath; the entire assembly can encircle the sheath and perform continuous circumferential cutting along a predetermined path. Once the preset depth is reached, a stop plate prevents further penetration, ensuring that the aluminum sheath is not cut through and the cable's internal structure remains undamaged, while still achieving the required stripping and cutting of the aluminum sheath.

The "Weiheng" shaft‑type tunneling machine marks the first application of fully intelligent vertical tunneling technology in China's power‑grid infrastructure sector. It is also the nation's first shaft‑tunneling machine capable of operating in both cast‑in‑place shaft and precast segment modes, with a technological level that leads the country. With an excavation diameter of 14.2 meters, it is tailored to meet the demands of large‑diameter power‑grid shaft construction. The machine integrates heavy‑load cutting, slurry‑based muck removal, and intelligent control systems, making it well suited for complex geological conditions. Featuring China's pioneering one‑step construction method for 1.2‑meter‑thick cast‑in‑place shaft walls, it achieves a deep integration of conventional concrete‑pouring techniques with intelligent mechanized tunneling, enabling simultaneous excavation and shaft‑wall casting while supporting unmanned operations underground.
