WISH HIGH VOLTAGE SWITCH EXHIBITION PAINTING
Hollow composite insulators are primarily composed of four components: an epoxy‑glass‑fiber wound tube (or cylinder) manufactured by Taporel Electrical, metal flanges, and a silicone‑rubber shed—integrally injection‑molded in-house by Weishi Transmission & Distribution—as well as an O‑ring seal. Thanks to the exceptional properties of these materials, they are ideally suited for outdoor high‑voltage equipment. Weishi Transmission & Distribution also produces composite post insulators, which are high‑voltage insulators made from a composite of silicone‑rubber materials. These consist of three main parts: a glass‑fiber‑reinforced epoxy resin pull‑out rod (the core), a silicone‑rubber shed (the umbrella section), and a metal end fitting with an iron cap (the hardware). The primary product types include rod‑type and cross‑arm‑type insulators, used on 35 kV, 110 kV, and 220 kV lines for suspension and tension‑bearing insulation; they are also available as insulators for 10 kV distribution lines.
COMPOSITE INSULATORS FOR ELECTRIFIED RAILWAY CATENARY SYSTEMS, COMPOSITE INSULATORS FOR URBAN RAIL TRANSIT, AND FUSE PRODUCTS
Composite insulators for electrified railway catenary systems are critical insulating components that ensure the safe and stable operation of the traction power supply system. They are primarily used in catenary structures such as cantilever arms, positioning devices, and support poles, where they serve the dual functions of electrical insulation and mechanical wire fixation. In urban rail transit, composite insulators are mainly employed in the catenary (or third-rail) systems of subways, light rails, and trams, providing both electrical isolation and mechanical support to ensure reliable power supply between the vehicle's pantograph (or current collector shoes) and the power supply network.
