The AC/DC impedance live‑testing equipment for high‑voltage cable grounding circuits is designed for on‑line diagnosis of the grounding condition and precise localization of defects. The device supports both AC and DC testing modes, allowing flexible switching based on the induced voltage in the sheath grounding system, ensuring convenient and safe operation. Compared with conventional passive methods such as infrared temperature measurement and circulating current detection, this AC/DC impedance live‑testing technology enables on‑line assessment of grounding‑system impedance, effectively identifying latent defects including lead‑seal cracking, corrosion of copper busbars in grounding boxes, and damage to the cable's outer jacket.
