DETACHABLE LIGHTNING ARRESTER
Lightning arrester is the foundation of insulation coordination for various electrical components in the power system, such as transformers, reactors, capacitors, generators, motors, PLs, CTs, circuit breakers, contactors, etc. The protection performance of lightning arrester determines the internal and external insulation indicators of all electrical equipment in the power system, including short-time power frequency withstand voltage, lightning impulse withstand voltage, and operational impulse withstand voltage. Used for AC power generation, transmission, transformation, and distribution systems of 220kV and below, it is the basic equipment for insulation coordination of the entire system, and is used to limit the amplitude of overvoltage during internal operation of the lightning protection system to a specified level.
DROP-OUT FUSE
Drop out fuse is the most commonly used short-circuit protection switch for branch lines and distribution transformers in 10kV distribution lines. The drop out fuse is installed on the branch line of the 10kV distribution line, which can reduce the range of power outages. Due to its obvious disconnection point, it has the function of an isolation switch, creating a safe working environment for the maintenance section lines and equipment. Installed on the distribution transformer, it can serve as the main protection for the distribution transformer.
DISCONNECTING SWITCH
The main characteristic of an isolation switch is that it has no arc extinguishing ability and can only open and close circuits without load current. Isolation switches are used for various voltage levels, to change circuit connections or isolate lines or equipment from power sources. They do not have the ability to cut off current and can only be operated after disconnecting the line with other devices. Generally equipped with interlocking devices to prevent accidental operation of switches under load, sometimes pins are needed to prevent the switch from disconnecting under the magnetic force of major faults
