Product Introduction:
The power cable fault locator is used to measure the distance of the cable fault point. It has the characteristics of easy waveform recognition, high resolution, reasonable interface, supporting for touching screen and pressing buttons and easy for operation.
This power cable fault locator can be used independently in low-voltage pulse mode. It needs to be used together with a high-voltage signal generator in pulse current mode. After the distance measurement is completed, use the cable fault locator to find the precise location. They together form a high-performance cable fault finding system that can provide a variety of innovative features.
Feature:
1. Combining the two test methods of low-voltage pulse and pulse current, can test disconnection, low resistance, high resistance, flashover and other faults.
2. Intelligent judgment of fault distance. In the low-voltage pulse mode, it can automatically select the range, judge the fault type, move the cursor to the fault point and display the fault distance.
3. High test accuracy. When the range is less than 1KM, the test accuracy is less than ±1M. When the range is greater than 1KM, the test accuracy is less than 0.5%.

Introduction

Working Principle
It adopts medium frequency switch boost rectification, which is of large capacity, strong overload capacity, simple circuit structure and high reliability.
It has a specially designed discharge device built in, and the discharge voltage is not limited by the ball gap distance. Under the set output voltage, press the discharge button, and the discharge device will work to discharge the fault point.
In addition, it has a built-in safety discharge device. After the instrument is powered off, the built-in high-voltage capacitor and cable are discharged through the device to release the residual charge to ensure safety.
