OIL PRESERVATION SYSTEM

The H-J Protect Nitrogen System provides a reliable supply of low pressure nitrogen to any applicable oil filled system. This system takes the high pressure and volume of a nitrogen cylinder and regulates down to a desirable pressure that will displace the air in your system at a positive pressure to maintain protection.
Designed with gas retention in mind, components and connections are kept to a minimum. Use nitrogen cylinders longer while providing the same protection to the oil in contact with the gas space. The design also includes a bypass line that has several uses. Increased pressure maintained in the bypass line allows for initial air purging, rapid filling, and testing. An easy to access valve can quickly apply or remove this bypass pressure to or from the system.

The H-J Family of Companies' High Voltage Bushings have been designed for Air to Oil applications on Liquid Filled Transformers, Reclosers, Step Voltage Regulators, Switchgear, and other special power equipment.

DRAIN VALVE

The brass body globe sampler valves are designed for sampling, filling, or draining coolant from an electrical apparatus. The Drain Valve with Sampler has an integral sampling device on the outlet side of the valve. All gaskets throughout the valve are Viton for compatibility with all insulating fluids. The large port opening insures minimum flow resistance. Drain Valves with samplers are available in 1 and 2 sizes and rated at 200 lb. WOG. Drain Valves are also available in Stainless Steel.
