EP Shanghai 2025 is Set to Open on November 18–20 Focusing on Energy Digitalization and the “Generation–Grid–Load–Storage” Industry Chain

Organized by the China Electricity Council and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., the 32nd International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology (EP Shanghai 2025) , along with the International Exhibition on Energy Storage Technology and Application (ES Shanghai 2025) and Hydrogen Energy Expo, will take place on November 18–20, 2025, at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (Hall N1–N5 & W5) . The show will spotlight key themes such as the “15th Five-Year Plan” power grid development, new power system construction, and the digital transformation of energy. Covering the entire chain of generation, grid, load, storage, and hydrogen integration, EP Shanghai provides a comprehensive solutions platform for collaboration and innovation. The 2025 exhibition spans 72,000 sqm, bringing together over 2,000 well-known exhibitors and brands from China and abroad to lead new progress in the industry.

Since its debut in 1986, EP Shanghai has served as a key platform promoting industry collaboration and high-quality growth. The 2025 event follows the theme “Energy Digitalization + Transmission and Distribution – Building a New Power System Ecology” , featuring cross-sector displays from components to systems and from equipment to total solutions. Five major themed zones—Transmission & Distribution, Digital Energy, Intelligent Power Equipment Manufacturing, Power Automation, and New Energy & Storage—will present full-chain solutions including energy storage and demand-side response, virtual power plants, micro grids, and smart distribution automation. These solutions aim to ensure safety, efficiency, and low carbon, covering all stages from planning and design to integration and operation.

New Zones Spotlight: Hydrogen–Power Integration and Power Robotics
EP Shanghai 2025 will introduce the Hydrogen–Power Integration Zone, jointly presented by the Hydrogen Energy Branch of the China Electricity Council and the Hydrogen Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society. Leading companies such as Shenzhen Energy, CEPRI, Shanghai Electric Power Construction , Shunhua ,COMPRESS,Evian HORIBA, and HV HIP ELECTRIC will showcase the full “Power–Hydrogen–Power” cycle—covering generation, hydrogen production, storage, transport, refueling, and re-powering—highlighting how electric-hydrogen collaboration strengthens energy security and industrial decarbonization.
Power Robotics Zone & National Power Inspection Robotics Summit Forum will also debut, co-organized with the China Association of Mechatronics Technology Application. The zone will display robotic innovations for grid operations, substation inspection, fault detection, ultra-high-voltage corridor patrols, and emergency repair scenarios. Exhibitors like Unitree, Deep Robotics, Lenovo, and Stäubli will demonstrate how AI perception, SLAM navigation, and edge computing enhance safety, flexibility, and efficiency in challenging environments.

AI + Power and Computing Collaboration
In line with national policies promoting “AI + Energy,” the concurrent CDCE Data Center Exhibition in Hall W5 will set up a “Computing–Power Collaboration Zone,” focusing on cutting-edge cases of digital twin modeling, grid and storage coordination, virtual power plants, and intelligent dispatch for enterprises.
