Organized by China Electricity Council and State Grid Corporation of China, co-organized by Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., “The 31st International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology (EP Shanghai 2023)”, “2023 Shanghai International Energy Storage Technology Application Expo (ES Shanghai 2023)”, “International Data Center & Cloud Computing Industry Expo 2023” and “International Intelligent Building & Green Technology Expo 2023” concluded successfully from 15-17 November at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, PR China.
The 3-day exhibition attracted more than 1,400 companies and brands, including local exhibitors as well as participants from Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the United States, with a total exhibition area of 61,500 square meters. Serving as a one-stop trade platform for the industry, EP Shanghai welcomed over 49,000 professional visitors, including more than 300 professional delegations. In addition to the local audience, the exhibition drew visitors from countries and regions such as Russia, Belarus, Mexico, Indonesia, Pakistan and China Taiwan, accounting for 8.6% of the total number of attendees, representing a wide geographic coverage. EP Shanghai has become a global event in the power industry, providing exhibitors and visitors with extensive opportunities for communication and business cooperation. This year exhibition adopted a dual-track approach with both online and offline activities. Over 50 online livestreams were conducted, covering exhibitor interviews, concurrent conferences, and New Product Gallery, attracting over 100,000 views. In addition, four related exhibitions concurrently held this year attracted more end-users from fields such as data centers and intelligent building, bringing greater benefits to exhibitors and professional visitors. This exhibition has provided a broad platform for cooperation and communication within the industry, promoting the development of the power sector. The preeminent brands and manufacturers in the industry comprehensively showcased new products and technologies at EP Shanghai. From procurement of equipment to technical innovation and exchange, the exhibition provided domestic and foreign power companies, power grid companies, power engineering, equipment companies, power design institutes as well as construction, petrochemical, rail transportation, steel and shipbuilding and other industrial users a one-stop platform to acquire the latest market information, explore new products and technologies, and business cooperation. The onsite atmosphere was enthusiasm and the organizer has received a lot of positive feedbacks from the visitor survey. More than 90% of the visitors were very satisfied or satisfied with the quality of the exhibitors and exhibits while more than 95% of them rated the quality of the exhibitors as very good or good. The result fully embodies the high quality of the exhibition. The exhibitors fully showcased their professional expertise and innovative capabilities, providing participants with a satisfactory experience and valuable business opportunities. They facilitated effective communication and connection between exhibitors and their target customers, promoting innovation and development in the power industry and fostering collaboration for "upgrading, transformation, and integration" within the industry. Exhibitors such as State Grid Corporation, Southern Power Grid, ABB, Siemens, Changyuan, Schneider, TBEA, Chint, Daqo Group, Acrel, Murge, People Electric, Shandong Electrical Engineering, Xian XD Switchgear, XJ Group, Pinggao Group, Xiamen Hiprecise, The China Electronic Cowan Science and Technology,Mantunsci Science and Technology, Dadong Technology, Woer Heat-shrinkable Material, Emerson, Staubli, Minghan Electric, ABBSEN, and others provided visitors with a comprehensive range of equipment and technologies covering the entire power and energy storage industry chain, from upstream to downstream. Additionally, pavilions from the United States, Germany, and Yueqing showcased a diverse range of internationally-oriented equipment and technologies for the visiting buyers.
