About MELEC
-Foundation in 1992 in Wenzhou. The business was for China domestic market only, especially in lugs & connectors.
-Started export business in 2001. ABC Accessories added into our production line at the same time.
-Bought new land and built new factory in Shanghai in 2002, and finished in 2003. Moved the factory from Wenhzou to Shanghai in the end of 2003.
-100% business for export market since the year 2004. And set up our own moulding centre.
-Heat Shrink Accessories added into our production in 2005.
-Bought new land and bulit new factory in Jiangsu Qidong in 2008, finished in 2010.
-In 2011 MELEC is including 3 companies, Shanghai Jiameng Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. has its factory in Qidong and trading company in Shanghai.
-In 2014 MELEC set up our own laboratory, and had its test ability ranges as below. 
  ABC Accessories: EN50483-2:2009, EN50483-3:2009, EN50483-4:2009, EN50483-5:2009, EN50483-6:2009 
Lugs & Connectors: IEC61238-1:2003 and GB/T9327-2008 (for China Domestic)
-In 2016 MELEC lab passed CNAS Accreditation (ISO17025).
-In 2017 new workshop for Cold Shrink Accessories is under construction.
-In 2018 the workshop for Cold Shrink Accessories is done.
