COMPOSITE INSULATOR

A composite insulator is a new type of electrical insulation equipment manufactured using polymer materials. Its core consists of a high-strength fiberglass core rod that bears mechanical loads, while the outer layer is made of silicone rubber sheds, providing excellent hydrophobicity and pollution flashover resistance. Compared to traditional porcelain insulators, it offers significant advantages such as light weight, high strength, impact resistance, explosion-proof performance, and maintenance-free operation. It is widely used in transmission lines, substations, electrified railways, and other fields, making it a critical component for the safe operation of modern power grids.

SURGE ARRESTER

A surge arrester is a voltage-limiting device with nonlinear resistance characteristics, connected in parallel near the equipment it protects. When the voltage does not reach the arrester's operating threshold, the arrester exhibits high impedance. However, when an overvoltage transmitted through the line exceeds the arrester's operating voltage, the arrester discharges first, reducing its resistance. This action diverts the charge from the overvoltage wave into the ground, limiting the development of the overvoltage and thereby protecting other electrical equipment from insulation damage caused by overvoltage.

HOLLOW COMPOSITE BUSHING

A hollow composite bushing is an insulating accessory used for electrical connection and insulation in high-voltage power equipment. It is composed of silicone rubber sheds, a fiberglass insulating tube, and metal flange components. Primarily used in primary equipment such as high-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, GIS (gas-insulated switchgear), lightning arresters, instrument transformers, and capacitors, it serves functions such as electrical insulation, mechanical support, and sealing protection.
