Special-purpose Diagnostic Kit SDK-2T is designated for non-destructive testing of windings compression of power transformer without it disassembling. When the transformer is under pulse electrodynamic load an insufficient level of residual windings compression can lead to winding turn deformation and transformer failure. The use of the SDK-2T allows for determine the need for windings compression regaining and to control the quality of maintenance works without disassembling the transformer. SDK-2T is convenient and easy to use. A complete cycle of non-destructive testing of windings compression of power transformer does not exceed 30 minutes.
