Mobile Indicator Complex MIK-2 is designated for non-destructive testing of ceramic support-rod insulators, used for insulation and fastening live parts in electrical equipment with the voltage of 35-500 kV. The use of the MIC-2 allows for regular, year-round and quick time inspections of a large number of insulators without switch-off the operating voltage. Special-purpose Diagnostic Kit SDK-2T is designated for non-destructive testing of windings compression of power transformer without it disassembling. When the transformer is under pulse electrodynamic load an insufficient level of residual windings compression can lead to winding turn deformation and transformer failure. The use of the SDK-2T allows for determine the need for windings compression regaining and to control the quality of maintenance works without disassembling the transformer. SDK-2T is convenient and easy to use. A complete cycle of non-destructive testing of windings compression of power transformer does not exceed 30 minutes.
