Founded in 2010 on the basis of the former CSG Technology Research Center, CSG Electric Power Research Institute (CSG EPRI) is a holding subsidiary of CSG. The broadband harmonic synchronous measurement device (SEPRI‑HM2500) was developed to meet the needs of broadband oscillation monitoring in modern power systems. Integrating broadband signal sensing, high‑precision network synchronization, and full‑band phase correction technologies, the device can perform real‑time, accurate analysis of the amplitude, phase, and frequency of fundamental, harmonic, and interharmonic components. It enhances the grid's ability to detect complex harmonic and resonance events, providing critical technical support for the safe integration of renewable energy sources.

The hydro‑generator governor additional damping controller (SEPRI‑NPSG2200) enhances the stability of the power grid in the ultra‑low‑frequency range by applying supplementary damping to the hydro‑generator governor, thereby fundamentally suppressing ultra‑low‑frequency oscillations through phase compensation of the prime mover's mechanical power. It also effectively mitigates the loss of primary frequency regulation performance that typically results from configuring smaller PID parameters in the governor to address ultra‑low‑frequency oscillation damping. In this way, it successfully resolves the trade‑off between the governor's stability and responsiveness, ensuring the safe, stable, and economical operation of the power system.
