Daya Electric Appliance Group Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Zhejiang Daya Electric Appliance Equipment Factory) was founded in 1986 and cooperated with Shanghai Electric Appliance Research Institute in 1989. In 1990, it was awarded as a designated enterprise for producing complete sets of high and low voltage switches by the former Ministry of Machinery Industry and the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, and a recommended product enterprise for the transformation of the two networks by the State Economic and Trade Commission. In 2016, it formed a stronger group company with a Sino-foreign joint venture with Simon Power Technology Co., Ltd. of Spain.
The group company has passed the ISO9000 international quality management system certification, and is an advanced unit of national township enterprises in scientific and technological progress and a provincial high-tech enterprise. The company mainly produces high-voltage and low-voltage switchgear of 35kV and below, various high pressure ring network cabinet, box-type substations, cable distribution boxes, ZW32 compressed high-voltage load switches, BZW1, FZN25 vacuum high-voltage load switches, FLN36 and FLN56(SF6) sulfur hexafluoride high-voltage load switches.
