The Weiyuan WYCT series split-core current transformers are specially designed for ease of installation. Thanks to their split core, no cables or busbars need to be opened during installation. Conventional current transformers typically require interrupting the primary current to thread the cable or busbar through the core, or to connect the cable to the primary terminal. In contrast, the split‑core design allows the core to be easily opened, enabling installation and connection without interrupting the circuit—saving both time and installation costs.
