HEAT SHRINKABLE TUBE
Heat shrink tubing is a specialized polyolefin‑based heat‑shrinkable sleeve that offers high‑temperature shrinkage, flexibility, flame retardancy, and insulation against corrosion. At room temperature, the material exists in a glassy state; upon heating, it transitions to a highly elastic state. During manufacturing, it is expanded by heat and then rapidly cooled to set its shape; when applied, it can be reheated to contract back to its original dimensions.
COLD SHRINK CABLE TERMINAL
Cold‑shrink terminations are accessories used in power systems to connect cables to switchgear. After being mechanically expanded, they naturally contract and secure the connection without the need for specialized tools or heat, making installation simple and fast. Employing cold‑shrink technology, these terminations leverage the contraction properties of elastomeric materials—such as silicone rubber and ethylene‑propylene rubber—to achieve a tight, reliable seal with the cable, all without heating. Available in voltage ratings from 1 kV to 35 kV, they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and are particularly well‑suited for hazardous environments—such as mines and chemical plants—where open flames are prohibited. With their convenient installation, excellent performance, and broad range of applications, cold‑shrink terminations have become essential components in modern power systems.
HEAT SHRINK CABLE TERMINAL
Heat-shrink terminations, also known as heat-shrink cable terminations, are electrical accessories used for cable connections. They are widely employed at voltage levels of 35 kV and below for terminating cross‑linked polyethylene (XLPE) cables or oil‑impregnated paper (OIP) cables. These terminations are compact and lightweight; compared with conventional cable accessories, they are easier to install and transport, with a simple and rapid installation process that requires only a heat gun or similar heating device. They are suitable for cables of various sizes and types, offering excellent versatility and adaptability. Made from high‑polymer materials, they exhibit a "shape‑memory effect": upon heating, they shrink tightly around the cable, helping to control electric field distribution and reduce surface electric field intensity, among other specific functions.
