The electrical testing simulation training system is primarily used across various industries to train personnel in power cable inspection. The key sectors served include: the power industry—such as power plants, substations, and power supply bureaus; the manufacturing sector—such as manufacturers of power cables and manufacturers of cable fault location instruments; the metallurgical industry—such as captive power plants and power‑generation facilities; the education sector—such as laboratories and training centers; research institutes—such as laboratories and training facilities; and the service sector—such as property management companies, service firms, and logistics departments.

Cable Fault Calibration System

This device is designed for testing and training on various types of faults in single-core power cables rated at 10 kV and above. The simulation system employs discharge gaps and power resistors to replicate real‑world cable faults, while a specialized coaxial cable simulates a single‑core power cable. Inside the unit, protective gaps are incorporated to provide discharge‑based protection when the preset voltage threshold is exceeded. It can simulate high‑impedance faults, low‑impedance faults, flashover faults, as well as intact cable conditions, and enables full‑length cable testing. In conjunction with cable fault locators and high‑voltage signal generators, it allows on‑site simulation and demonstration of the detailed fault‑location procedures for different fault types. Additionally, it can be used to train personnel in diagnosing, locating, and measuring the distance to sheath‑related faults.

Cable Fault Testing Vehicle

This vehicle-mounted cable fault location system integrates a high‑voltage pulse generator, a cable fault ranging unit, a cable fault pinpointing device, a cable path tracer, a cable identifier, a resistance‑based cable fault locator, an insulation resistance tester, and a 0.1 Hz very low frequency withstand voltage test system into a single compact unit, comprising nine major components. The system is suitable for locating low‑resistance, short‑circuit, and open‑circuit faults in armored or unarmored power cables of various materials and cross‑sections, as well as in high‑frequency coaxial cables and underground wires. It can also detect high‑resistance leakage and high‑resistance flashover faults. Customization is available upon customer request.
