An ultra‑early‑stage electrical fire alarm and automatic extinguishing system monitors the concentration of pyrolysis particles inside distribution cabinets. As soon as the temperature of a material exceeds its thermal decomposition threshold—during the very earliest stage—large quantities of pyrolysis particles are generated and, driven by Brownian motion, disperse extensively into the surrounding air. This system can accurately detect incipient signs of combustion, enabling detection of fire precursors at their most fundamental level. It provides early warning during the earliest stages of material ignition, offering several hours of valuable time to manage combustion conditions, and automatically suppresses fires before they spiral out of control within the cabinet, thereby preventing escalation.
