AC contactor

CJ19(16)-25, 32, 43, 63, 85, and 95 switching contactors for capacitor banks are specifically designed for switching low-voltage shunt capacitors. They are widely used in reactive power compensation systems operating at 50 Hz and voltages up to 380 V. These contactors are equipped with inrush current suppression devices that effectively mitigate the impact of closing inrush currents on the capacitors and reduce switching overvoltages at the moment of disconnection. They can replace conventional switching arrangements consisting of a single contactor and three current-limiting reactors, offering a compact footprint, lightweight construction, robust make-and-break performance, and convenient installation.
