Partial Discharge Online Monitoring Device for Switchgear Cabinets

The switchgear partial discharge online monitoring device is based on the ultrasonic (AE) principle, the transient earth voltage (TEV) principle, and the ultra‑high frequency (UHF) principle. It acquires discharge pulse signals in real time and, after demodulation and conversion, outputs the discharge amplitude. The AE sensor operates at a frequency of 40 kHz with a monitoring range of 0–60 dB; the TEV sensor has a detection bandwidth of 1–100 MHz and a monitoring range of 0–60 dB; the UHF sensor covers a detection bandwidth of 300–1500 MHz, with a monitoring range of −80 to 0 dB. The device features a built-in LCD display that shows, in real time, the partial discharge monitoring values and waveforms derived from all three principles.

It provides real-time monitoring of parameters such as vehicle speed, location, impact acceleration, battery level, temperature and humidity, and tilt angle, and transmits this data via an encrypted 4G network to the State Grid Power Logistics Service Platform. Logistics managers can then view and manage transport tasks in real time on the platform. The battery offers up to 90 days of standby time, making it well suited for long‑distance transportation.
