The copper–aluminum eutectic strip produced by Chima Metals, a subsidiary of Ningbo Shenma Group, is an industry‑first—both domestically and internationally—developed on the basis of the company's existing aluminum strip continuous casting and rolling technology. Leveraging a unique solid–liquid composite forming process, this product delivers breakthrough improvements over conventionally manufactured copper–aluminum composites in key performance metrics such as peel strength, current‑carrying capacity, electrical conductivity, tensile strength, and shear strength. By enabling equivalent substitution of copper materials, it can reduce costs by more than 40% and is widely applicable across sectors including electrical engineering, power equipment, electronics, photovoltaics, and energy storage. As such, it plays a pivotal role in advancing the "dual carbon" goals and mitigating strategic risks associated with copper resource reserves.
