OIL IMMERSED TRANSFORMER
Oil-immersed transformers (oil transformers) are critical electrical devices primarily used for the conversion and transmission of electrical energy. They operate on the principle of electromagnetic induction, lowering high voltage to a user-friendly low voltage or raising low voltage to high voltage. Oil transformers utilize insulating oil as a cooling and insulating medium, offering excellent heat dissipation, effectively preventing overheating, and thereby enhancing the safety and reliability of the equipment.
With advancements in technology, oil transformers are progressively evolving towards intelligent and environmentally friendly designs, equipped with advanced monitoring and control systems to achieve higher operational efficiency and lower maintenance costs.
DRY TYPE TRANSFORMER
Dry-type transformers (dry transformers) are electrical devices primarily used for the conversion and distribution of electrical energy. Unlike oil-immersed transformers, dry transformers use air as a cooling and insulating medium, eliminating the need for an oil tank and resulting in a simpler structure. Their core components include windings and a core, which are made of special insulating materials to ensure stability and safety in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.
With the development of smart grids, the monitoring and control systems of dry transformers are continuously being upgraded to achieve higher operational efficiency and lower operating costs. In the future, dry-type transformers will play an increasingly important role in electrical systems.
