High-Voltage Cascaded Energy Storage System
The high-voltage cascaded large‑power energy storage system on the grid side is a core product of the mainstream grid‑forming energy storage technology pathway for the future. Developed jointly by Chint and Tsinghua University, this system employs a cascaded topology that eliminates the need for transformers, with each battery cluster managed independently and featuring enhanced protection levels. The overall system achieves a charge–discharge cycle efficiency of 90%, can operate as a standalone unit under grid control, supports black start capability, and delivers a response time of no more than 20 ms. Moreover, its advantages become more pronounced as capacity increases, making it particularly well suited for large‑scale standalone energy storage power stations.
NGH-40.5kV Eco-friendly Gas Switchgear
The device uses nitrogen (N2) as the insulating medium, which is readily available, clean, and environmentally friendly, while delivering excellent insulation performance to ensure safe and stable operation at zero gauge pressure. It features a modular design for long service life and reliable, stable performance; the three‑position disconnector and circuit breaker are integrated in a modular configuration, allowing for external assembly and convenient commissioning. An observation window on the gas compartment enables visual monitoring of the three‑position switch status. The equipment meets the stringent requirements of special environments, including high altitude, seismic resistance, and pollution resistance. Its block‑type expansion and modular assembly provide flexible scalability and ease of maintenance. Furthermore, it has achieved significant breakthroughs in zero‑gauge insulation and high‑current temperature rise, enabling seamless compatibility between SF6 and environmentally friendly gases.
