Organized by China Electricity Council and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, EP China 2008 - the 12th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology will be held concurrently with Electrical China 2008 - the 5th International Exhibition on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment & Contractor's Supplies during 12th to 14th November 2008 at China International Exhibition Centre (Hall 2-6), Beijing, PR China. The show scale is also expected to hit historical record with over 17,000 sqm in which over 400 international exhibitors will showcase their latest electric power equipments and technologies.

The development on electric power industry is vigorous in China and is enhancing on adopting advanced technique to achieve higher efficiency, power supply stability and efforts in energy saving projects. EP China 2008 will bring major market players to showcase their wide spectrum of equipments and technology on power generation, power T&D, environmental power, energy conservation, control & testing, electrical products, and peripheral technologies and services.

AREVA has exhibited in EP exhibition for many years. AREVA T&D will showcase a full range of power transformers and distribution transformers, switchgear technologies for high and medium voltage applications and automation systems. Their products are widely used in utility, oil and gas, mining and metals, as well as rail transport sectors.

In EP China 2008, another top of the Global 500 companies - Schneider will introduce its new products and technologies in over 160sqm booth, including their new MV vacuum circuit breaker - EV12s which is launched in 2008. EV12s is a new breaker designed by Schneider France, it accords with GB, DL new standard in China. This 12kV indoor vacuum circuit breaker can be widely used for MV power transmission protection and control in the area of Energy and Infrastructure, Industry, Commercial and Industry Building, Residential. It is especially adapted to HV/MV, MV/MV and MV/LV substations.

TOSHIBA will demonstrate advanced technologies and products on nuclear, thermal and hydroelectric power plants as well as their newly developed new technologies which include Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) and Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) systems. Strategic alliances with Japanese and international partners support the company in enhancing cost competitiveness, developing next-generation power solution, and contributing to construction of power infrastructure around the world.

Besides, EP China 2008 will gather other leading suppliers including 3M, ABB, Siemens, GE Energy, Chint Group, Eaton, Emerson, CEEG, Daqo Group, Alstom, EDF, Hitachi, Hyosung, Japan AE Power, Du Pont, Exide, Schniewindt, Huadian, NRG, Toshiba, Tamco, Socomec, Mennekes, Dow Corning, etc. There will be international pavilions from Germany, Korea, Spain, US, UK & Singapore with over 28,000 trade visitors.

Further, in line with the market needs and "11th Five-Year Plan" of PRC government on energy conservation, "2008 International Exhibition on Energy Conservation, Environmental Power and Desulphurization & Denitrification" (ECEP) will be held concurrently with EP China 2008. The major power corps in China, including China Huaneng, Datang, Huadian, and China Guodian, will be invited to showcase their achievement and future development in the sector of energy conservation and energy efficiency. It will provide our exhibitors an effective platform to meet with the key persons from the power corps in China. 6,000 key trade visitors from Power Groups and Corps, Power Supplies Bureaux, Power Research & Design Institutes, etc, are expected to attend.

Founded in 1986, EP China and EP Shanghai are organized by China Electricity Council and held rotationally in Shanghai and Beijing in alternate years.
