| Donations from Domestic and Foreign Power Enterprises to Sichuan's Earthquake-Stricken Area |

| An earthquake measuring 8 on the Richter scale struck the province of Sichuan, China on 12 May 2008. Ten thousands were killed, many more injured and widespread destruction is reported. Immediately after the disaster, numerous business enterprises, charity organizations and many Chinese citizens donated by variety of ways to the victims of disaster areas. Many domestic and international power equipment enterprises were very concerned about the Sichuan disaster and contributed reliefs enthusiastically. Among these enterprises, many are our EP China 2008's exhibitors, including GE Energy, Chint Group, Hitachi Group, Schneider Electric, Areva T&D China, Siemens (China) Company, Toshiba Corporation, ABB (China) Co Ltd, China Electric Equipment Group (CEEG), and Xiamen Huadian Switchgear.The care and contributions from the above power enterprises gave a great deal of warmth and support to the affected victims. |
